The "it" shoes

There is a pair of shoes that I long to own. Its been about 4 years already. Its super expensive (for people like me, at least), it is a designer shoes, and its absolutely gorgeous.

I bought it.

But I am not in the slightest happy.

Perhaps it wasn't the shoes I wanted.

Perhaps it was the idea of wanting the shoes was what makes the shoes so special.

Because now that I have it, its nothing special anymore...

My brother and i

It would be lying to claim we're chummy. We're not. Growing up changes that. Tonight, we're having dinner togwther. I haven't had dinner with him for a while. We don't really talk, but at least we're sitting at the same table... Baby steps, baby steps.
